Did you know that most of the “Sugar-free” products on the marketplace are made with unsustainable methods? It’s true! Most corn xylitol is imported from China and extracted from corn cobs by adding sulfuric acid in a process called acid hydrolysis. Acid hydrolysis is generally regarded as an environmentally unfriendly process. By contrast, Snowflakes Candy uses birch bark xylitol that is extracted from birch bark in sustainably-managed forests in the United States, Canada, and the Nordic region. Make sure to check out the link to Snowflakes Candy located in the resources section at the end of this post!

How will you deal with setbacks and unforeseen obstacles that are lurking on your path? The truth is unless you are dedicated to making your dream a reality - you’ll bail at the first sign of trouble. You need to learn from leaders who have earned their battle scars on the battlefield of marketplace competition. While the journey for Kenney and his team at Snowflakes Candy hasn’t been easy - all the lows they’ve endured have led to the highs! What can you learn from Kenney’s story?
