You don’t want to miss a minute of this fascinating episode featuring Suzie’s story!

Have you ever read a book that changed the course of your life? Imagine an idea that inspires you to change your diet and sets you on the path to starting your own business. For Suzie Yorke, that moment came when she picked up the book, “The Big Fat Surprise” by Nina Teicholz. The Big Fat Surprise was named a 2014 *Best Book* by The Economist, the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Mother Jones, and Library Journal. After reading Teicholz’s book, Suzie went to work improving her diet, which led her to create her business, Love Good Fats. You can find a link to both Suzie’s business and Teicholz’s book located in the resources section at the end of this post.

What should come first, career or family life? The grand balancing act of sustaining a positive family life and a thriving career can seem impossible. Few people can navigate their career and their family obligations in a healthy way. As a single mother, Suzie Yorke had to choose when to prioritize her career and when to make family the top priority. Unfortunately, Suzie reveals that there is no “Secret sauce” when it comes to finding work-life balance - each person needs to figure out what works best for their situation.
